I love the way Ruela has incorporated his art and his aesthetic into this. This utterly floored me when I saw it. My hats off to the artist.

Congratulations with adding the visual component.

"...and THAT was a VASE."

HAHA!
Love that part ;)

Brilliant Ruela! And may I add that it touches my heart when spoken art and visual art amalgamates no matter the sea in between. This must be what the digital world was meant to be :-D

Love from Anna

That is excellent I love it. That is great! I didn't get notification of it and I looked at comments in the past and they are down here. Maybe others didn't either or is it early?

Certainly a different approach than I was envisioning. Interesting, though.

Great video Ruela!! Congratulations and thank you for all your hard work and attention to detail. It is very well synchronised and expressionistic. I want to watch it again!!

tut-tut, woot indeed.

Ruela, I love how Joe, the sidekick of Jim the detective, is portrayed in the animation. A hard man from South London looking like a gangster!.
Wonderful!

X.Dell, this floored me too when I saw it the first time. I had not completely woken up yet when I checked in and you should have seen my grin! It was getting bigger and bigger as the film moved on!

Thank you thekingpin, this was a fantastic effort from Ruela.

Ruela, this line is one of my favourite ones too AND little Emma waving from Greece.

ANNA-LYS, it's great to see you here again. I must admit I have neglecting blogging a bit due to circumstances but I promise to visit you soon.

Jim, how strange! I messaged all the members on FB so I'm not sure what happened. The main thing is that you have seen this masterpiece of Ruela though.

I know Charles. I have images in my head as how the characters look and I just love the way how Joe is portrayed here. I can't wait to hear from Ian, who plays him, and hope to speak to him soon. And Susan! She is just so the lookalike of Sue who plays her! Unbelievably so!

I keep watching it too Jed. It is so well done. My imagination is playing overtime with how the previous episodes might look like. Old Mrs Wood? Granddad? Alan? The naughty pigs? Brutus who is a star in his own right? The demise of Cassidy? Who knows what might happen!

Better late than never Beach Bum, yes it is absolutely fantastic!

Monique, I'm sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. My world has been a zoo of late.

I LOVE this! I can enjoy it right here without having to go to the site, download it, and listen. In a couple more episodes, I may actually know what's going on. ;-)

Always pleased to see you here TomCat. I know how busy you can be, so there is no hurry. For as long as the internet exist, Middle Ditch will be here. And the nice thing is that you can listen to (and in this case, view) any episode at any time.

I hope your zoo will be sorted soon!

Amazing Ruela and Middle Ditch...I nearly stay 'calm' the whole video...;) When lyric and art stand side by side and speak and be visual together from differents part of the world ...that is like building bridges with No limits between.

Very cool animation. It's different from what I'd imagined, but kind of gives a new interpretation for me.

Ruela said...

Thank you to all, you're very kind.

Another animated video?
yes
It will be nice ;)
maybe a special episode for Halloween or Xmas.

Think about it!

Ruela that animation that you did would be great for a Halloween issue!

JR'sThumbprints, welcome to Middle Ditch, quirky tales of village life and thanks for commenting.

Thanks Devin, I can't get enough of it!

Benji, yes, it must be totally different from seeing faces in your mind when listening, but I think it's really cool.

Ruela, that would be cool too. What about last years episode The Whistling Chimney?

Totally agree Jim.

The next episode will be posted tomorrow. Not an animated version this time but I hope we might have another one sometime in the future. How cool would that be!
