Hi Monique! You're a good director! I think I am going to listen to all the previous episodes again. It's probably the age because I have forgotten what happened in the first episodes and the story is wonderful!
There is still a lot of snow overhere and some people have been skating today. I think it's winter all over Europe.
That was good! I think Lib should speak up and everything will be forgiven at the least as long as she is in good standing.
Would Libby really ditch on her own brother I wounder.
I mean wonder - geez.
I like the yeah maam, nay maam sequence. Good stuff.
Liddy does need to ditch her brother, I mean he really should not have asked his sister to possibly mess up her job.
Although, Lady Annabel is a snob so I can't really feel any sympathy for here.
Great episode!
Hi Reader Wil, I'm glad that you like the story enough to want to go back to the beginning. That is the wonderful thing of blog spots, it will stay forever, or for as long as the internet exists.
We have escaped most of the snow down here in Dorset but we had some and the freezing conditions makes going downhill from where I live pretty treacherous. I'll be visiting you soon and hope to see some beautiful winter pictures.
Thanks Jim, we will find out in the next episode if Libby dobbed her brother in. And somewhere down the line we also will find out who Libby is speaking about when she told Ed-Boy that she is sure that Lady Annabel is her.
Didi, I never expected to see you. What a wonderful surprise. I wonder if you have been following the story. Sometimes even I have to go back to certain episodes to find out what actually happened.
And will Libby ditch on her brother? We will find out soon.
I like this too Charles and Janine does it really well. She wanted to act since she was a young child and now we see how good she is. Wonderfully clear voiced and well counter acted by Freddy.
You are, of course, right Beach Bum. Ed-Boy is nothing but trouble and a small crook. Even Libby is fed up with his attitude. And as for Lady Annabel? Well, she is a lady, even though I don't think that Sir John (who has totally disappeared) knows that she has had a baby when she was fifteen.
Freddy was great during the recordings of the episodes he is in. He traveled all the way from London down to Dorset by train, then took a taxi to where we live and all that for the love of the story. He is a young actor we will hear much, much more of and we are very, very lucky that he is so willing to participate.
It sounds as if Farmer Drake took control of the situation with a swift punch and by wrestling Ed-Boy to the ground! After all, he suspects that Ed-Boy is responsible for Emma's disappearance.
Good episode!
Another wonderful episode of Middle Ditch!!
Didn't anybody every tell Lady Anabel that "Property is theft":-)
best to all of you -and I hope the whole cast at Middle Ditch is having a beautiful 2010 so far!!
Don't believe in helping yourself to other people's things, but my! it's only food, L.Annabel
Another great episode.
I can hear Randy at the other end of the phone call spluttering and getting so over-excited that he accidentally cuts off Lady Annabel. That could be his explanation for hanging up as well!
Well played everyone!
Jed it sure sounds like it, doesn't it? All that screaming and hollering. And did I hear glass being broken?
Poor Ed-Boy, not only starving but now in the doghouse too!
Ha-ha-ha ... Devin, that is a good one. I'll pass it on to the lady herself.
I agree Anne, it is only food. BUT farmer Drake saw it and took the law into his own hands. What will become of Ed-Boy? And what exactly does Libby mean by saying that she is sure that Lady Annabel is her!!
I can actually see Randolph faint David. The realization that farmer Drake is wearing Sir John's slippers might just have been too much for him. We know that Randolph put Sir John's slippers outside by the sty for the police to find but why on earth is Drake wearing them? Didn't he find it strange to find slippers there? Well, I suppose we will find out in due course.
I hope Ed-Boy gets a good meal at the county jail.
Great under-stated acting for the Lib character, really enjoyed that. And as usual, great job building the dramatic tension.
I finally made it here to D/L this. :-)
Getting a little kitchen fight-action in during this episode! Ed-Boy and Libbie are a show all by themselves.
Your cast is growing, Monique and I hope some day you all make up one big international broadcast company! Cheers.
Superb acting by all.Lol about Drake delivering manure!Lady Annabel's attitude to potential employees reminds me how certain hotel guests would speak to you as if you were an automoton, as you were their cleaner, when I worked as a chambermaid.Usually they would then create the greatest mess in their room and forget about a tip.
Ben, I'm sure that Ed-Boy will have a decent meal wherever he ends up. I will pass on the compliment to Janine. She will like this. Really great to see you here.
Tom, thanks, I hope that you enjoy it.
Rick, it was fun finding the right sound effect for this fracas between Ed-Boy and Drake. Yes, the cast is growing and soon we will meet Svetlana. She is a great actress with loads of promise. This reminds me that I must quickly go and do some more writing on episode 52.
Hey Fizz, good seeing you and yes, you are so right! Cleaners and waitresses are not to be seen and not to be heard. They are apparently brainless and have no opinion. I know all about this, being a cleaner in a boarding school myself. The parents must think that the fairies are doing all the work because we usually have to do a disappearing act as soon as they are about. How Victorian is this?
Hope the socks get you to work ok x
I'm sure they will Fizz. In fact, I can't wait for the weather to turn again and try this out. LOL
Wow, that's a new edge to things.
Thanks BernardL, thank you for visiting and commenting.
What? A new chapter? YAY!
I say "ditch the brother!"
Oh yes, Sun Follower, the story continues. And will Libby 'ditch' (lovely pun by the way) her brother, or even snitch on her brother? Well, we find out soon, I promise.
Thank you for visiting, listening and commenting.
And I finally had time to listen to it. It was my breakfast entertainment yesterday. Monique, you make a magnificent announcer.
Hi Monique!
Sorry for not having been around for a while, but I'm terribly wrapped up with all the renovations...
Monique I just read your comment on Jim's post from yesterday.
I was quite shocked about what you write about amputations there!
Do you by any chance happen to have that article where they are talking about the gangrene risk?
Thank you TomCat, I'm actually blushing.
Sofia I have answered you on one of your blogs. I hope to hear from you soon.
Here is one Sarah! Haiti Amputations as gangrene sets in
Thanks Jim, I have notified Sofia as I know her.
I love Middle Ditch! So enjoyed this episode. Look forward to the next installment!
Next week Starfish Woman, most probably on Sunday 31 January. Thank you for visiting and commenting. It is always highly appreciated.
What's happenin', Ditch ?
Hey Heff, it's good to see you again. I have been trying to get to your blog but I couldn't get in. I will try again. And what's happening? Loads is happening. MD is still going strong with this wonderful cast we are having. I hope to see you again in the next episode.
Hi Monique! Thanks for your visit and kind comment! It's still freezing here. I suppose you have the same kind of weather! Have a great and not too cold weekend.
Thanks Reader Wil, yes it is still very cold here. Freezing temperatures in fact but I'm warm sitting here in front of my trusted computer.
Hahahaha. I can imagine Minton's reaction when he heard about Drake taking Sir John's slippers.
Poor Libby got thrust into the middle of all that. Freddie Fox did an excellent job as Ed-Boy. I really felt like smacking him this episode.
I see him faint with the shock X.Dell.
Janine and Freddie were a great act together and we really hope that we can get Freddie again next year. He is very busy acting in several TV dramas. He is an up and coming young actor and we were very lucky to be able to get him last summer.
Lol about Tesco how on earth are they going to see what everyone is wearing as they walk in.
Fiz, I haven't got a clue
I used to know a person who helped himself to other people's things too. Another great episode. Also I love the video version because I don't have as much trouble listen as before with the other one..
Icy, I had no idea that you had trouble listening to the episodes. I'm so pleased that this is now sorted and that you enjoy the story.
