Once a hippie - always a hippie!
Shoes I can understand is more needed in England than in San Francisco - but the bra? Can't You just make a knot behind Your neck, or something?

ANNA-LYS said...

This happens when I push the play-button on this post;

All of them on Your site starts to download, but non of them sounds. I use Mozilla Firefox and I have both Java, VLC, MSN mp, and all other needed sound systems - Now I wonder if it might be the browser. What are You using? Explorer, Olympia ... or?

ANNA-LYS said...

I just checked You up ;-)

You use the Safari browser!
Is here anyone else that has the same problem as me, using Mozilla Firefox?

Thanks in Advance

Middle Ditch said...

Hi Ana-Lys,

Monique has asked me to check how things work on Firefox Mozilla for you.

The set-up is the same. beneath the words Middle Ditch 9 is a rectangular box. Inside the box are the words Middle Ditch 9 on Twango 5.46 and beneath that is a light grey bar line. At the bottom are three icon buttons. The middle one is a right side pointing triangle. This is the play button. Click on the button.

The grey bar line will darken indicating that it is loading and about to play. Within three or seconds it will start playing for broadband users. There is a longer time gap for dial-up. Give this time and it will load and start playing. I am listening now on Firefox Mozilla.

Let me know how you get on.

ANNA-LYS said...

I am so sorry ... it was my speakers!!!
Tnx for trying to help me out.
I have listened, but guess I have to hear the eight before this one to understand the context and its points and dots.

Thank You both!!!!

Middle Ditch said...

Anna-Lys this is great news. You can follow the story now from episode one onwards.

This episode is a true story (no names revealed) that happened not so long ago.

Hi MD -

A new one!!

I'm on m firefox broadband, and its not playing ball at the moment, (ie, no sound even after a wait) but guess it could be one of a number of things nothing to do with your end - (ie, router, connection etc)- try again later.

Hope you've recovered, & have a good new year if I don't catch up with you before then!

Thanks Pris for your comment. I get fan E-mail as well. Love it.

Anna-Lys, I am so pleased that you are finally able to hear the serial. You are a super trooper.

Bigga! Thank you so much for adding a link to my blog. You are so sweet.

Julie, I hope that you have sorted that problem with listening. I love the photographs on your blog!

J. Andrew Lockhart, I am so pleased that you like it. I'm always looking forward to reading your blog.

Every episode is a story in its own right whilst also following the happenings in this village. When will Cassidy's disappearance be found out?

I also like to thank my cast for their willingness to perform and for their ideas of story-lines.

Thank you.

Thank you for your visit. I can hear your audiobook now, but I was thinking to copy it to my mp3 player. I'm sorry for you having no fireworks, they already started over here, that's also not nice if you have to go out.

I do not deny evolution. There is probably more extinct species than living. The alternative to evolution is creation. If you accept creation, you must also accept the creator making organisms with no other purpose than existing as fossils. I find that very hard to believe.

Middle Ditch said...

Thank you walking man. In my story I try to keep village issues, and one of them is truthfully the withdrawal of buses (and the MP). Now the government plan is to take our post offices away, so there is another issue that will crop up sooner or later in the tale of village life.

ANNA-LYS said...

Yes, it has ... always nice to see U :-)

This is an amazing use of a blog - I love the idea of combing media in cyberspace like this.

I've really enjoyed listening to some of this story. It's been ages since I've listened to an audio story.

Middle Ditch said...

It's always lovely to see you Anna-Lys.

Thank you absolute vanilla, I'm glad that you enjoy this. The saga continues soon.

tykobrie said...

Another good one. Slow at the beginning but WHAT some ending! Great.

Middle Ditch said...

Tykobrie, it's not every day that one sees THAT.

MRMacrum said...

You are developing the group dynamics in devious ways. And what with Willy Wonka and his buddy there, I have a distinct feeling, men in general in this story are in for a less than favorable chracterization. I guess we are pretty much all clowns, aren't we?

Monique said...

Mr macrum, it was great fun having Brian playing the role of the unfortunate MP and we will hear more of him later in the series.

Devin said...

It goes against your policy! HAHAHA :-) sending hugs to all of you from Arizona!

Middle Ditch said...

Isn't Brian playing the MP well? Mind you, Devin, Diana was not too pleased having to say THOSE words.
