hahahah - ms. monique, this is hysterical!! i'd like to know how randolph will react to a frog hopping from one corner of the room to the other, LOL!

Stellar performance! That was excellent. I had a sh@* eating grin on my face the whole time. Loved it!

Middle Ditch said...

Cherie, I'm sure that Randolph will scream the place down if that should happen. I'm surprised that Lady Annabel puts up with his screams.

Jim, thanks for that sh@* eating grin.
I'm not sure what it means though. Maybe you could enlighten me some time.

Thank you both for visiting and commenting.

Well, that scream is certainly filled my ears, and reversal roles are quite refreshing to me..

Minton had me rolling on the floor!

This was a great episode from the double act.
They play well off each other.

Well done!

Middle Ditch said...

Well, Icy BC, who would have thought that Minton is afraid of spiders. It certainly is unusual.

Thanks Beach Bum. During the recording of this episode we didn't know that one of our cats was asleep behind the curtains. When Brian began to scream, the cat woke and, startled, began running around the room. I quickly opened the door to let him out but he was so frightened, he kept running around in circles. Unruffled, Rowena stayed in her role, whilst poor Brian, he himself startled by the cat's sudden appearance, dropped his script. It was all quite an experience and when the cat finally found the open door and ran out, recording could continue. Who says life is dull? It never is when we are recording episodes.

Middle Ditch said...

Yes they do Jed. When one of them is not here and the other one has to record with a stand in or on its own, it never is as good as when they are together.

Lovely to hear about the bag what pattern did you use?The chickens are doing very well at mum in laws.
Thanks, my dad's chest is now clear and my mum is doing fantastically well .
Will pop back this evening to listen to the latest episode here, best wishes.

Middle Ditch said...

Thanks Fizz, see you later

This is hysterical, best episode yet. It's only a cranefly ! Superb screaming by Randy.
Your poor cat ( read other comments) hope they recovered quickly.
Your bag sounds fantastic, great idea reinforcing the strap with some card.
Thanks for asking about the parents and I believe now ( latest) the chickens are taking over at mum in laws, best wishes.

This episode still makes me laugh!

Thank you.

Boy can that man scream!! My husband didn't like snakes, but spiders....? We have plenty of them now in the garden. Good performance!

Anne Lyken-Garner said...

Great to spice up my lunch hour (well, half hour). Great screaming too! I'm as always, totally entertained by the antics.

Middle Ditch said...

Fizz, thanks for coming back and thanks for listening. I'm glad the chickens are doing okay.

Me too David. They perform excellently.

Reader Wil, we didn't know Brian could scream so loud. I think Rowena was a bit taken aback too. As for spiders in the garden? Yes it's that time again. I love to see the dew on all those webs in the hedges early in the morning but am not too keen to see one of those big ones scurrying across the floor.

Hi Anne, this episode was also great fun writing. The next time Randolph Minton MP needs to do a scream I will have to add soft scream or short scream in the script. Brian hates rehearsing and when he is in an episode with just Rowena, Rowena is happy to oblige and they usually will go through it without any hick-ups (unless there is a cat sleeping behind the curtains).

How hilarious! I can almost sympathize with Randolph since I get a bit unnerved when large spiders are close to me. He has a good set of lungs that boy LOL

Middle Ditch said...

Thanks Janice, I also do not like those big spiders with 'hairy legs' as Randy says. I hate it when, relaxed in a chair, watching something nice on TV, one of those creatures suddenly scuttle across the floor.

Heff said...

"She's seen bigger " !

Middle Ditch said...

Yes she has Heff. Lady Annabel lives in a huge and very old mansion. Spiders galore in there. Poor Randolph!

Dr. Russell Norman Murray said...

Randolph screams a bit like an English friend of mine when his wife gives him too much grief.;>

Happy Weekend.:)

Devin said...

Hahahaha:) You all are wonderful!! I always get such a laugh from these episodes -hugz and love to the whole cast-cant wait for the next episode!!

I am late as usual but wow what an episode. I am tempted to scream loud like that right now.

Rick said...

Randy is absolutely the best screamer in the business! Loved, loved, loved this one Monique!

Middle Ditch said...

Satire, this is just too funny. A happy weekend to you too.

Devin, great to see you. You had me worried for a bit here. Glad that you are well and that you like this episode.

SJ, better late than never, I say, and go on, scream to your hearts delight.

Thanks Rick, I'm pleased that you enjoyed this episode.

Hi Monique, sorry I didn't respond earlier. Was sort of intimidated by your list of blogs, and after going through some of them, well...I was positively petrified! (Meant as a compliment of course). Anyhow, thank you very much for your kind comment. It was just a a mad rant after a drunken night. As you could probably guess, my blog isn't a serious one...its just a stupid hobby of a very stupid man. :)

PS: Enjoyed the episodes of Middle Ditch! Absolutely brilliant!

Funny cos we replaced a large spider safely outside, just after this episode. Yes thanks, hamster is doing well . Simon's cat cartoons are a new discovery.

Middle Ditch said...

David, I am so pleased that the problem, for now, is solved.

Middle Ditch said...

Fiz, you are a true hero throwing such a big spider out. I could never do that and I'm really pleased the hamster is doing well.

LOL! Very entertaining performance, including the screams. :)

Middle Ditch said...

Foam, you have been missed. Good to see you. Glad that you are fully awake now. X

Randy has indeed got quite a scream.

I am sure that a lot of his behaviour has been moulded by his years in the House of Commons!

Middle Ditch said...

I am sure this is the case Jed.
