Wow. This is getting to be ever so tintillating that I might even quit reading those gossip newspapers in the drugstore! Great fun.

This was well written and well played! Thanks for sharing! Have a great weekend.

Had to laugh at the "mixed Wards" and the "desires." I've heard some stories. Power to them, I say.

I like the return to some of the old themes, like Sarah's constant infidelity, Alan's gullibility, etc.

"But she's [the vicar's] a woman:" funny.

Middle Ditch said...

Hi Foam, I have no such friends either. Shame.

Hey Rick, I don't for one minute believe that you are reading such things. I must admit that I occasionally (very occasionally) glance at such magazines, shake my head, mutter something and put it aside. Could it be jealousy?

Thanks Reader Wil for this lovely compliment.

I absolutely assure you Charles that such wards still exist big time in this country. Why? It's degrading. And not fun to lie in a bed close to men.

Ah, X. Dell, Sarah might be pregnant but this is not going to stop her having affairs and we will return to this in due course. And, alas, Alan is dead so we will never be able to have his gullibility again but who knows we might get someone else.

Thank you all so much for visiting and commenting. Without you MD might not go on as it does.

Excellent! Good snoring David. I have to laugh, it's a good thing I am alone when I listen to these I can't get the grin off my face.

Hi Monique - It's great that you'll be in Bath on 18th July when I'll be in Waterstones signing copies of my new crime thriller. Bath's a beautiful city - lots to do - but I hope you'll find time to pop in and say hello.

super, thx monique :)

Another great episode. Thanks.

Middle Ditch said...

Thanks Jim, Thank goodness it's not David snoring. That would drive me insane!

Leigh! The sole purpose of going to Bath is to see you! And I can't wait to finally meet you. After all you have been a supporter of MD virtually from the beginning.

Laughingwolf and Lizzie, thank you for listening.

And thank you all for commenting. I have said it before and I'm going to say it again, I can't get enough of reading those. They make my day.

Now I'm off to X Dell to listen to episode two of The Golden Ganesh!

Unknown said...

LOL@ foam's comment.

This was good almost as good as an episode of Golden Ganesh!

Thanks SJ

Another action packed episode with some fine sound effects. I wonder who Sarah will have an affair with next? Granddad?

jmsjoin said...

I thought I already watched this! It is as good as it was the first time but how did this come out a second time or did I miss something? Take care you all!

Dave not snoring? :-D

Dave not snoring? :-D

Bboo said...

Sorry for that... Kees is me, Betty. Sometimes.

Anne Lyken-Garner said...

No way! This is like reading Hello magazine.

Is it still legal to tie people up with belts? I think not! :-)

The plot thickens, and so Allan is sterile. You see, one needs to find these things out *before* the affair not after. How come she was unaware of that fact, I wonder.

Middle Ditch said...

Icy BC, it was great to find the snoring sound effect. The only thing we could not find were those hickuppy snores, which was a shame.

Fizz, I hope you are luckier the next time you try. It could be blogger. Sometimes I find it's loading really slow.

Thanks Devin, I always appreciate your comments as to how much you enjoy this.

Middle Ditch said...

Jed! An affair with granddad! He might be an old fox who is fully functional but him and Sarah! Well, I suppose he could always give it a go. Go for it Granddad!

Sorry to confuse you Jim. FB is playing up big time. I could not go to any groups for days! I could find my groups but as soon as I clicked on one, all I had was a blank screen. And suddenly it was rectified so I could message members about this episode.

Middle Ditch said...

Bboo, you are a tease. And no, luckily for me, it is not David (but he can do it, I promise)

Anne, I suppose criminals, when they need hospital treatments and/or stay, are still shackled to the bed, so, yes, I'm sure it's still legal. Luckily granddad is not in that category.

And poor, poor Sarah. Of course she knew and of course she took precautions, but condoms do sometime malfunction. The problem is, she thinks that she is the only one who knew Alan was sterile! And now there are two more women who know it. Oh dear!

Thank you all so much for commenting.

David Caddy said...

I enjoyed this episode!

I think that Granddad is trying to say something at the end. He just can't get the words out.

The plot thickens.

Middle Ditch said...

Hi David, yes, what is granddad trying to say? We might find out in a future episode.

BernardL said...

LOL! Okay... I want them to have to tie me up for control purposes at that age too. :) Sharply done exchanges.

Middle Ditch said...

BenardL, you made me laugh out loud.

Thanks for commenting.

Thanks Aggie, good to see you.

Sounds back phew , another great episode. Good snoring, not too loud ( my nearest and dearest would have drowned the sound out with his decibels!) , very funny with the horrors of mixed wards.
The plot is getting deeper again wonder where it will go.
Thanks the gig was brilliant.

So little time right now - I haven't even been able to follow MD (sigh) but my book promotion is really hectic - I seem to be at it all the time for a while. As well as the Curzon Group blog (I post on Thursdays) and my local paper's blog, I'm also going to be on the radio(for 5 minutes...)If you're interested, you can listen to a brief interview online at the BBC Radio Somerset website at 1.00 tomorrow (Thursday) where I'll be wittering on about Cut Short. I think it's broadcast live so my voice will probably be shaking so hard I won't be coherent, but I'll be there, on air. Very excited.

Leigh Russell said...

And of course I'm VERY excited about meeting you. I hope you can make it to Waterstones in Bath on Saturday!!!

Middle Ditch said...

Fizz, I'm so pleased you were able to listen. Adding the snoring sound effects was great fun. You should wear earplugs if the snoring is so bad!

Leigh, I realize how busy you are and I will listen to you on the radio. It's all very exciting. See you on Saturday.

Thank you both for visiting and Leigh, I'm sure you will catch up soon.
