Excellent job :)
like the sound effects still ;)
Good ending that was a good one they get better and better or maybe I'm getting older. That was great, this is the only thing I st and listen to with a smile on my face. Good one!
Great, as ever. The cast really gel together now.
I agree with all of the previous commenters-so glad i caught the new episode-this proves that insomnia can have its benefits!! sending love and hugs to all of you from much too hot Arizona!!
Enjoyed this atmospheric episode :)
I wonder where the trailway is going?
Very amusing, and I loved the rustic cattle noises in the background. That was a nice touch.
Fantastic. Congratulatios Sue, David and Monique!
Brilliant, Monique! Lovely to hear your voice and that of your husband! And I agree with all the previous commenters.
Yes, great sound effects and seamless dialogue.
You guys are really getting comfortable with each other. Everything flows.
There's nothing like the old blackmail to get someone to do what you want. I almost feel sorry for Howard - but I suppose that's what you get for fradulent behaviour.
And... almost expected a troll to come out from under that bridge. Man! how close were you to that car? It sounded dangerously near.
Such fun listening to this! "Trespassers will be shot" *grin*!
Hi Taiwan girl, it's good to see you again. I like the sound effects too.
Hey Jim, the ending is significant for future episodes but I can't say why. Keep smiling.
Thanks Aggie, it's good to see that you are blogging again.
Thank you all for visiting and commenting.
Thanks Devin, I'm glad that you enjoyed this episode. We learn a little more about relative newcomers to the village, Howard and barbara. Keep cool.
Hi Jed, yes I wonder where this is going too. Watch this space and we will find out.
Thanks Dabrah, great to see you. Helen and David did a great job again adding the sound effects.
Thank you all for visiting and leaving such nice comments.
Thanks Michelle, I'll be over at your wonderful blog soon.
Reader Wil, good to see you. It's about time I visit you soon again too.
BernardL, I let you into a secret. This was written after David and I did just such a walk but Jeremy had one look at the script and demanded it to be changed, which I did and which then was so much better. Thanks jed for making me rewrite the script.
Thank you all for visiting and commenting.
Hi Charles, thank you for the compliment.
Anne, your comment made me smile. Why didn't I think of a troll! And don't feel sorry for 'respectable' Howard, after all it was he who dumped poor Mrs Wood in the field with pigs, thinking she was dead.
Marilyn, that sign was really there when David and I did that walk. Unbelievable isn't it?
Thank you all for visiting and commenting.
I just love reading those comments and it's great to see you all here.
I am so pleased that people are enjoying this episode. You never know how well they are going to turn out. It was a good collaborative effort.
Sound effects really set off this episode for me..Very enjoyable!
eh? seems barbara knows how to handle howard .. lol .. ;)
I totally agree with you David.
Thanks Icy BC, listening to it again it all sounds really rustic.
Hi Foam, oh yes, Barbara knows how to handle Howard alright, bossy so-and-so she is!
Thank you all for visiting and commenting

Tut-tut, I will send you our e-mail address.
Leigh, I know how busy you are. I will see you soon.
Thank you both for visiting and commenting
Knobbly knees lol.Good use of sound effects. My favorites being the car passing, the bridge and the bizarre bird.
Thanks for the thoughts about mum.
Have a good weekend.
Nice episode I liked the sound effects in this one. The heels clicking sound was awesome.
Loose means not tight, no?
Nice weekend overthere.
Fantastic... as usual.
Hi Fizz, Those knobbly knees are going to appear in another episode when Howard will exclaim about them again. I also like the bridge sound effects, very realistic.
SJ, long time no see here. Thanks for the compliment.
Richard, thanks for solving that problem. Have a nice weekend too.
Sun Follower, how lovely to see you here. Have you been following this story?
Thank you all for visiting and commenting.
trail sounds like a fine idea, too bad she had to blackmail him into it. ah well, such is the intrigue of middle-ditch.
This did cheer me up. thank you.
I should put a trespassers will be shot sign on my door to deter my neighbor. what do you think?
Hi Ben, it's good to see you. That Howard eh? Whatever next with him! We'll find out.
Ricardo, I'm glad this cheered you up and yes you should hang such a sign up by your door. He would think twice before bothering you on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
Thank you both for visiting and commenting.
awww this was really nice i thoroughly enjoyed that!
Thanks Aretha, great to see you
Charles is so right- it's like your cast gets more and more comfortable doing this with each episode. And it really is an exceptional treat to have Monique and David in the same episode. In fact, it's getting so good that it sounds real! (especially with the ever better sound effects).
Hi Rick, you have no idea how good it feels to see you here. You have been sorely missed by all of us.
The sound effects are great. Helen and David are doing an exceptionally job here. It takes a lot of time and effort to get them right and they are going to add the proper sound effects to the earlier episodes when they have the time (and energy). Then .... we are going to put the episodes on discs and sell them and plough the money back into MD.
Great to see you Rick. Take care.
So now we have blackmail (which could make Barbara a bit of a target in the future), a new project, and intrigue, namely in a cop who likes ugly-legged women.
You know, for some reason it didn't dawn on me until now that if there's a Middle Ditch, there's probably a Lower Ditch and and Upper Ditch. Interestig class symbolism, except for the bikes.
But those blue giant bikes are going to have a whole story by itself X Dell.
Good to see you and, yes, new story lines are developing. And that new cop is played by Ian Brinton with a remarkable South London accent. He is a great asset to the cast but it will be some time before we hear him.
Loads of other stuff still has to be dealt with, like Alan's funeral and poor granddad, who is recovering in hospital from a chilly night tied up to a tree in the cemetery, when Emma so hastily departed and completely forgot about him. And Emma? Well that is yet another story which is slowly developing so keep listening.
Thanks for your visit. I didn't know either that there was a boat tour under the city. Next week I am going again, this time with two Dutch friends.
Thanks Wil, I hope that you are going to have a great time. X
I want to thank you for your comments on my blogs and I enjoy reading the comments here between you and your readers... it's such a nice exchange and I love how you give each other ideas and how well you as a writer respond to them. not every writer has the ability to do that!
I recently wrote this post, you might find it interesting, but it's not an easy read at all...

Hi Sarah, thanks for the compliment. I shall go and have a look at that post when I find the time. Thanks for visiting.
Thanks ;)
I'de love on day make an animation work with your stories.
Thanks Ruela, I'm looking forward to that day
I felt pretty wobbly when I heard about those knobbly knees.....
Hi kees, those wobbly knees ..... Sorry, those knobbly knees are going to be a major part sometime in the future. Watch this space!
Loved the sound effects - birds, cattle, heels. Kudos to the technicians :)
Looking forward to finding out more about Emma's role in everything too....
Hey Janice, great to see you again. You have been missed. Thanks for the compliment. I will pass it on to Helen and david and as for Emma? Well, even though she isn't here she is going to have a huge impact sometimes in the future.
