Hi Michelle,

Ah those kissing sound effects they get me every time as well! I enjoyed this episode, especially good to hear Freddie's performance again!

I must admit to finding the kissing noises funny too!

Yes, I enjoyed the sound effects and their observation of Alan's funeral. Ed-Boy seems to know what's going on the village alright.

Middle Ditch said...

Hi Lizzie, kissing sounds eh? Lovely to seeing you again. Thanks for commenting.

Jed, I'm afraid it's not Alan's funeral. It's John's, Alan's brother. As far as we know Alan is still in hospital recovering from that nasty knife wound inflicted by John.

That was Funny! The human mind! I don't know if it is me or not but these are getting better all the time. Good Job!

LOL. that was some serious smooching.

I had to laugh when he "wanted to have a look at another man's ????

Middle Ditch said...

Jim, thanks. I'm glad that you like it. Hopefully this episode picks the story up from where we left it.

Charles, Ed-Boy is an great big cocky so-and-so. We will hear more of him.

So cute! I liked Ed-Boy and all the rest, especially the kissy sounds (like everyone else...)

I agree with Michelle-no matter what the crew of Middle Ditch does it always makes me smile-this is such a wonderful and unique idea for a blog! Peace and love to all of you! I hope the flu bit is over very soon-I wish I had some 'folk' advice to give-all I can say is that massive doses of vitamin c and green tea with a bit of honey seems to help me when I have it.

Middle Ditch said...

Aggie, PBS and Devin, thanks for commenting. I'm still suffering the flu and am sorry not to have visit you all for some time. Hopefully soon I feel much better and normality can resume.

Hi Middle Ditch,

My daughter who is at uni has just announced to me that she and a group of friends are doing a film skit for their student film theatre.

She's written a script and audition for the lead roles is now going on.

I recommended that she and her friends go to your blog, listen to the skits in Middle Ditch for educational purposes.

Cheers!

Hillblogger, wish your daughter good luck from us. It is most kind of you to recommend MD as an example.

Anne Lyken-Garner said...

Thanks for the advice, Monique. I haven't come over here to listen to '24' yet because I've also got the flu.

Will do when I feel better - hopefully in a couple of days.
Anne

I liked the tweety birds sound in the background.
On the subject of bath bombs, yes I too have experienced the total glitter effect of a sparkly bath bomb. So I can sympathise with your son.

Hi Anne fellow sufferer, I hope that you get better soon.

Fizz, I too like those bird sounds. Thanks for visiting.

Foam, hopefully we will hear more about Ed-Boy in the future.

Now you, know. More kissings sounds for the next episode. Lots of fun as always and I do hope you are feeling better Moniquie.

Hi Monique and David, I always listen to MD. The problem is, that even if I turn on the volume as high as possible, the sound is too soft and I understand half of it. I can't subtitle it as I do for TV. I shall try and listen to all the episodes again. I hope your flu will be gone with the new episode!

Middle Ditch said...

Ricardo and reader wil, thank you for visiting and commenting. Actually, those kissing sounds? I do them on my hand during recording. So there another secret given away.

Reader Wil said...

Me again! Thanks for the visit to my termite mounds! Have a nice weekend.

Leigh Russell said...

Yes, very entertaining sound effects!

Middle Ditch said...

Thanks Reader Wil.

Leigh, thanks for commenting.

Oh, these are fantastic and funny! I've enjoyed listening to the last 3 episodes so far and will try to catch up with the earlier ones. Glad you popped by my blog so I could discover you! Many thanks :).

Marilyn, welcome to Middle Ditch, quirky tales of village life. Thanks for listening and thanks for leaving a comment. It is always much appreciated.

Monique, I can't believe that I missed this episode when it came out! It's wonderfully saucy entertainment!

Middle Ditch said...

Rick, I was wondering where you were. I understand that you have been pretty busy and didn't want to bother you with the triviality of a new post. Thanks for visiting and thanks for commenting.

Thanks for your recent visit to my blog and for your icicle thoughts. No, please don't try eating icicles.

Middle Ditch said...

Thanks Ted.

I got a kick out of this one Monique.
The English talk about sex more openly than we shy Canadians LOL
As usual the kissing effects break me up :)Great episode again!

boneman said...

I forgot.
Been such an adventure through the cold, wood chopping...I forgot the stories!
And then I saw your remark over at Bigga's and hey! Now I can catch up!
Well, after I get more wood chopped and get the danged bath tub drain thawed out...(yeah. Frozen like a box of vegetables!)

Yeah....that life sure is an adventure!

Anne Lyken-Garner said...

Well, I was a bit worried (I wasn't really worried) when I heard the very suggestive discussion.

'I've got something to show you.'
'Bet you've never seen one like it before.'
'It's really big.'
'You want to compare his with yours?'

But it was never going to be *that,* was it?

Another fine piece. I thought that the voices took a bit of time to warm to their characters in this one. However, it all turned out sparkling in the end.

Loved it!

Anne

Middle Ditch said...

Hey Janice, thanks for visiting. Sex? Who's talking about sex? They might just talk about a large nose (or not as it may be) LOL

Middle Ditch said...

Boneman, I know how cold it is where you are. Keep chopping wood to keep warm. Thanks for the visit.

Middle Ditch said...

Anne, "That" is left to the listener's imagination. Who knows what they are talking about. But we do know now that Ed-Boy and Emma were involved in Mrs Wood's burglary. And that's something.

Chris Benjamin said...

another great cliffhanger! you're great for building the tension.

yes, love those kissie noises too. more kissie noises!

Middle Ditch said...

Thanks Ben, I will make more kissie noises on my hand in another episode. In the next episode all will be revealed.

fizzycat said...

No not a convert to broccoli sprouts. Bite all better thanks, the culprit vanished. I wonder if there could be a toxic spider in the cosy village of Middleditch?

Middle Ditch said...

Fizz, that would be quite a story. I keep it in mind. Thanks

fizzycat said...

Lol about the cats, back for a listen to the new episode over the weekend.

Middle Ditch said...

Great Fiz, see you there
