Hum, Emma is a slightly nasty piece of work here. Good dialogue back and forth.
She's young Charles. One of those little upstarts who think they know it all. But who is she? Find out more about her in another episode.
Hi middle ditch! I missed you! Gaat alles goed? Nice story about a real teenager!
Hallo Reader Wil, alles goed? Bedankt voor de visite.
Hi Monique
I received your email and replied it, thank you again.
Hi Dick, thank you. I shall check my e-mails now.
Dick, thank you so much. Yes Middle Ditch will continue without Paul but we will miss him very much
This is an interesting side of farmer Drake that we haven't seen until now. But the cowshed? I'm surprsed Emma could listen to him after that.
I enjoyed finding out more about Farmer Drake.
A good portrayal by the actor as well.
Emma is sassy, yet naive. Good episode showing more about the farmer and the nature of the others as they interact together. Thanks for the advice on plants on blog . Will leave the carrots alone till August and tend the watermelon.
I have listened to four more episodes and I am totally hooked. This is just so good!
I did listen to this one but I have to listen to others first before I can make a proper comment of this one, but I did enjoy it though. The one to one must be difficult to write too. The other one to one was episode 6, and that was an absolute corker. So, so funny.
A great episode Monique - and neat to hear Drake's more tender side. But who is Emma - besides a know-it-all teenager? I wonder if she knows or saw something about Cassidy.....
Thanks Ex Dell, more sides of Drake are to come.
David and Fizz, thank you for the comments.
Tykobrie, one to ones are not easy to write.
Ah Janice, keep listening.
This keeps getting better and more involving ....
BTW, thanks for the comment on Beamer, the pup who passed, he wasnt our's .. he belonged to Husband's daughter and son-in-law.
:-Daryl
I took a brief listen, but I'm at work. I intend (best laid plans and all) to hear all of the episodes this weekend to catch up. Sounds fun.
Hee! How nice to meet you in cyberspace!

Daryl, thanks for listening.
Nessa, it's really good to see you here.
Well hello NB, long time no see.
hey monique ..
came by a few days ago and listened to it. i had my husband listening too.
he was quite intrigued.

Thanks .......... It's great to have a new listener
Without giving too much away, I'm slightly puzzled that, so far, nobody has seen (heard) the significance of the last words said by Emma in this episode and the revelation of Alan in episode 15.
Perhaps just as well so things will be even more surprising
Hi, yes never did catch the melon plant destroying thing. Never mind , might try some carrots in its pot ( after checking for bugs). Thankyou for drawing appreciation, must find more time to do the other picture I have in mind.
Nice to catch up on the episodes I've missed while away.
Dear Middle Ditch,
Quite a character this farmer Drake. Good to catch up after a busy few weeks.
I am also intrigued as to where you work that sees so much food wasted.
Dave.
Hi Fizz, I'm sorry about the melon.
Aggie, I hope that you had a good time away from it all.
David, thanks for the visit. I shall answer your question on your blog.
nice piece ;)

Thanks Ruela, I shall think about it. I can't do it on this blog, but perhaps I can do it on comments. Let me sleep on it.
Ouch, you cost me money!
I've listened to Middle Ditch 16 this morning, and it has me thinking. Instead of working on the technical writing piece my client is expecting tomorrow, I'm going to play hookey and write.
There is an immediacy in your dialogue that is too often missing in my own, but you inspired me, so I'm off to write! Maybe if I contact my client and have them listen to Middle Ditch 16 they'll do the same and I won't get in trouble, be reduced to poverty, and be forced to come live with you!
vwriter, you have given me the highest compliment possible. Thank you.
ok, no problem ;)
Ah sounds very familiar. Thought for a second it was my father who spoke to me when I was young. Great piece
I'm sorry to disappoint you Ruela
Marja, thank you.
Looking forward to the next part...as always!
Hi KB, thanks for visiting. I almost missed your comment.
Well based on the course that this youg lady could possibly go in, maybe I should send her boyfriend the book I wanted to burn. She's at great risk for getting taken advantage of. Or will she become the type that takes advantage of young me?
Ricardo, you surprise me. Have you still not burned THAT frightening book?
As for Emma, who knows?
Odd side bar here. I am sure this end gets tied in somewhere.
MrMacrum, you can be sure about that.
Hi all of you! Thanks so much for stopping by MFM! I was going to do some more catching up-but the box is empty on my computer where you would hit click to play-will try again before turning in for the night. Best to all of you!
Devin, OVI was down for maintenance for the best part of the day. It seems to be normal again. I hope that you had a good night sleep.
Bless you all-so many smiles and laughs:-)
Thanks Devin.
